“I Like Controversy… Making Scary Things Cool.”
My next Feature goes to one of my best friends in the world, Chris. One gets the feeling of ‘Eccentrism’ in just his description of his style alone, as he used words such as: “funeral chic”, “dark” and “controversial”.
If you are feeling bold and aren’t too conscious about constantly being stared at, then do as Chris did and wear a Printed Tee. But don’t just leave it there. To avoid the risk of looking too simple add some more pieces to your outfit. In this case Chris chose a sleeveless biker jacket (perfect in summer, a definite outerwear must-have) and accessorised with a necklace. These pieces, along with the spiked up sneakers that are to DIE for, tied his look together and added a little something extra to his rebel aesthetic. He has also managed to stay on trend with his jogger-style pants, which are really big this season. I love how he’s taken from his personality and the things that he loves and put them in his clothing. His look gives me shivers, but for all the right reasons. Not afraid to make a statement, he has definitely come out as my Eccentric Person of the Week.
