My Feature is a day late, I apologise. But I was so taken by this striking girl that I absolutely had to put it up. Thrilled by her strong colour choices and accessories, my Eccentric Person of the Week is, my very own Homeskillet, Kiara. When I asked her to describe her style I was drawn by her love for the vintage and by the fact that she stays true to herself by expressing her personality through her clothes: “A gorgeous personality can transform an entire outfit,” she says.
I particularly love how Kiara can wear a dress, every time pairing it with the right shoe - her fashion kryptonite - to look suitable for whatever occasion or venue. Finish off your look with a bold accessory in the form of a statement necklace, a pair of earrings, a headband - whatever inspires you. Kiara’s inspiration comes right after she’s raided her mom’s cupboard, “I love to incorporate clothing pieces, and even find inspiration from, different generations of fashion”. All that and she still manages to keep it youthful, modern, sexy and classy. You can’t help but be obsessed!
